Grand Palace (VG-01)

This is a must see for every visitor to Bangkok, for the Grand Palace Complex - which includes the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Pra Keaw) is unquestionably one of the most wondrous sights in the world today. Within it's grounds is the most exotic Buddhist temple and at the heart of the temple itself is the fabulous Buddha image cut from one piece of jade - it is the holiest and most revered of all religious objects in Thailand today. Nearby is the Grand Palace one of the official homes of the kings of Siam - build in a mix of traditional Thai architectural and some other European styles.

This also includes a visit to the Royal Funeral Hall and the Royal Coronation Hall.
