Day 01: Bangkok - Yangon
Arrive to Mingaladon International Airport. Please look for your guide who holding the signboard with your name and transferred to centrally located hotel in Yangon. Yangon, formerly as Rangoon, is still a relatively charming city. It's impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating and authentic capitals of South-East Asia. The city, today with a population of over five million, is bordered by the Yangon River in the south and the Bago River to the east. Check in and free at leisure at the rest of the day. Overnight stay in Yangon.
Day 02: Yangon - Kyaikhto - Mawlamyaing
After early breakfast , start to leave Yangon, a short stop at Htaukkyant War Cemetery where those who lost their lives in this area during WW II are interred. Lunch at Kyaikhto and continue to Mawlamyaing -the first British capital in colonized Burma. Overnight Attran Hotel Mawlamyaing.
Day 03: Mawlamyaing - Thanbyuzayat - Mawlamyaing
After breakfast travel to Thanbuyzayat the site of the Commonwealth War Cemetery. Thanbuyzayat (pronounced Tunboozyat) means "white iron", the War Cemetery lies at the foot of the hills, which are, buried men who lost their lives in the building of the Burma-Siam railway. The total number of burials here is 3,771. We will have as much time here as the group requires. From the Cemetery we will visit the Museum. Overnight Attran hotel Mawlamyaing.
Day 04: Mawlamyaing - Kyaikhto - Yangon
This morning we set off for Kyaikhtiyo to have lunch before returning to Yangon. We will arrive Yangon in the early evening. Overnight stay in Yangon.
Day 05: Yangon Seightseeing
This morning we will take a tour of the city and visit the famous Shwedagon Pagoda towering the green city scape of Yangon, the Shwedagon Pagoda is the prominent landmark visible from miles around. The Shwedagon is believed to have been built some 2,500 years ago. Overnight stay in Yangon.
Day 06: Departure Yangon
This morning to wander around Scott Market; here you will be able to pick up some last minute gifts. Scott market was named after Mr C Scott in 1926. Scott was the then Municipal Commissioner. The market was renamed by the locals to Bogyoke Aung San Market in honour of the national leader Genera Aung San who was assassinated in 1947. Late afternoon transfer to the airport.
