Yangon Bago Kyaiktiyo (Golden Rock) 2 Days 1 Night (VGP-02)

Day 01: Bangkok- Yangon

Arrive to Mingaladon International Airport. Please look for your guide who holding the signboard with your name and transferred to centrally located hotel in Yangon. Yangon, formerly as Rangoon, is still a relatively charming city. It's impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating and authentic capitals of South-East Asia. The city, today with a population of over five million, is bordered by the Yangon River in the south and the Bago River to the east. Check in and free at leisure at the rest of the day. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 02: Yangon-Kyaikhtiyo(Golden Rock)

After breakfast at hotel proceed by coach to Kyaikhtiyo trip located about 160 km from Yangon. Kyaikhtiyo is one of the most venerated Buddhist sites in Myanmar. There are many legends about the pagoda, it is known as the Golden Rock it's supposedly held in place by a delicate placed hair of the Buddha. Coach has to stop at the base of the hill and continue by an open truck up to the hill it takes about 45 minutes. Stay overnight at hotel on mountain top.

Day 03: Kyaikhtiyo(Golden Rock)-Bago-Yangon

Return to Yangon on the way visiting to Bago sightseeing, an ancient city of Mon kingdom it's founded in 573 AD. Excursion to Shwemawdaw Pagoda, a pagoda that has almost the same ages as Shwedagon pagoda it's built in Mon style. Visit to Shwethalyaung Pagoda and Kyaikpun Pagoda. Arrive to Yangon and transfer to airport for depart to Bangkok.
