07.00 – 07.30 Pick up from various Bangkok hotels.
08.15 This tour is very interesting and will take you to the floating market at Damnernsaduak about 110 km., west of Bangkok. First you take a leisurely drive by the rice paddies and some salt fields.
09.30 Stop and see the Palm sugar factory, where you can taste the product, lit it soak into your skin or do a smell test. You will also be informed on how they traditionally harvested the sugar (juice) and how they make it.
09.40 Arriving at the jetty you will now have the experience of a Long tail boat ride through many small canals in the area and then go on to the Floating Market where you can see all the different kinds and shapes and sizes of boats as well as and astonishing variety of goods for sale.
10.30 Go on to take a look at a nearby woodcarving factory, see the carving technique first hand.
12.30 Enjoy a buffet lunch in a nice cool air-conditioned restaurant. After lunch we will visit The elephant theme show, a fascinating way to see these giants perform, then go on to see some more animal antics at the Crocodile Farm.
18.30 Arrival back at your hotel.
