Historical and Cultural Tour of Lampang and Lampoon (VG-48)

Depart Chiangmai at 08:30. We will drive down south for 100 km to Lampang province. The city of historical and traditional Chinese merchandising community of the past. We will make a visit to some famous monasteries in town and take a ride in a horse carriage as it is the traditional taxi for city sight seeing. Lunch in a Thai restaurant in town.

In the afternoon proceed to the Tung Kwain wild market where they sell all products from the jungle such as insects, snakes, turtles and wild orchids. After visiting there we will proceed to Lampoon province and make a visit to the Haripoonchai temple, where the king of Lampoon use to live before.

Return to Chiangmai in the afternoon by the old road links Chiangmai and Lampoon, along the way enjoy sight seeing of local Thai houses and big Rosewood trees, more than 500 years old.
