Trekking 3 Days Prao Area (VG-51)

Day 1 : Depart from Chiang Mai at 9 O’clock. Now we will drive up north in to the Chiang Dao National Park – Prao area.
Stop at the local market for some shopping – or just looking. Continue to the trek point and start a 45 min. walk. Arrive at the Oahu village for lunch. In the afternoon after visiting the village we will continue with a further 2 hours walk through the jungle. Reaching the Karen village where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2 : After a good nights rest and a healthy breakfast we will do an Elephant trek for about 2 hours. At Lisa village we will leave the Elephants and stroll through the village, after which we will continue to the Akha village to learn more about this tribe and their lifestyle. After another 1 hour walk we rest the Shan village where we will have lunch and a good long rest to build up your reserves for the next 2 hours walk to Parong village where we will have dinner, share our experience and spend the night with one of the local families.

Day 3 : First have some breakfast to fill your growling stomachs and then you should be up for another 2 hours walk to a much differently cultured village, where we will also enjoy a somewhat different lunch. So now we will use another 2 hours to glide down the river on a bamboo raft and when we arrive at the end you will be taken back to your hotels.
