Golden Triangle Chiangrai Tour (VG-53)

A day tour to visit the World famous Golden Triangle. The tour will start early in the morning. Depart from Chiang Mai by highway 118 which leads to the north of Thailand. Visit the ancient capital of the Lanna Thai Kingdom or “The land of a million rice fields” during the 12th century.

Study the history of Thailand at the National museum in Chiangsean town. Visit the Golden triangle, at the landing point see the handmade Laoasian products and crafts. Make a stop to view the point where the borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos borders come together.

Continue the trip the Maesai town the so called top northern town of Thailand. A Thai lunch will be provided at a riverside restaurant. In the afternoon go to the Jade cutting factory and stroll along to the shops which displays products from the Burmese that live close to the border. Return to Chiangrai and make a stop at the monument of King Meng Rai, the King who built the capital of Chiangrai more than 700 years ago. On the way back to Chiangmai make a stop at the Hot water spring to having some drinks and then return to your hotel.
