Mae Hong Son Jeep Tour 3 Days 2 Nights (VG-60)

Day 1 : Leave the hotel at 08:30 – drive up by 4’4 Jeep north on Highway 107. Stop at the elephant camp for a 1 hour ride which leads to the Orchid– and butterfly farms. See more than 400 species of wild Orchids and a wide variety of beautiful fluttering butterflies. Continue off road to Mork Fah Waterfall and then continue through the wonderful natural scenery to our next stop – for lunch of course and then on to the hot water springs – (PongDued) located in the dense jungle. From here make a little trek to explore various wild plants in the area.

Arrive at Tha Pai and check in at Tha Pai Spa Camp where you can swim in the Spa’s mineral water pool. Here we will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2 : Have breakfast and then continue the trip to visit the Lisu and Lahu hill tribe villages in a nearby area. Proceed by off-road vehicle to Cave Lod a cave hidden in the deep jungle. Inside the cave there are magnificent Limestone images. Take the off-road to visit the Long neck tribe at Ban Nai Soi. The village is located on the border line between Thailand and Burma. Observe the wonderful life of this most friendly people who wear many bronze rings around their necks for all of their lives. See the view of Mae Hong Son City at Way Doi Kong Moo and check in at the Mountain Inn or similar facility. Stay overnight and have dinner in Maehongson.

Day 3: After breakfast, drive from Mae Hong Son on Highway 108 to Khun Yuam. On the way visit the Thung Bua Tong and a Hmong village. Stop to see the view and have lunch. Then visit the Mae Pan falls and Vachirathan falls. At 07:00 p.m. we will arrive back in Chiangmai.
