Mae Hong Son and Chiangrai Adventure 5 Days 4 Nights (VG-61)

Day 1 : Pick up at 09:00 and transfer to Chiangmai airport for the flight to Mae Hong Son. Meet the guide at Mae Hong Son Airport and transfer to the restaurant in town. After lunch drive to the boat station from where we will be taking a long tail boat ride to see the Long neck tribes. The village is located on the border line between Thailand and Burma. See the wondrous life of the long neck people, the women whom wear bronze rings around their necks for all of their lives. Return by boat to Maehongson city for city sightseeing trip to the Burmese Temples on the hill. Now transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 : After breakfast, it is time to leave Maehongson. Drive up the mountain to visit the colorful Lisu hill tribe village, proceed by vehicle to visit the black Lahu tribe, continue the visit the Hot water Springs on the way to Pai Town. Lunch will be served in a restaurant in Pai Town. After lunch, drive on a skyline road up the zenith of the mountain. Make a stop to see the superb panoramic view over uncountable mountains. Continue on the winding road to Tha Pai Resort or similar facility for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 3 : When we finished breakfast we will drive up to the Elephant Training Camp and see the elephants training and at work. Have an adventure through the dense jungle on Elephant back and Bamboo rafts. Have lunch at Fung town. Go on a drive to Thaton Town and then onwards to the Mae Kok River Lodge for dinner and a good nights rest.

Day 4 : After breakfast depart from Thaton Town to Doi Mae Salong where Thailand’s No.1 tea is produced, a lunch composed of a wide variety of vegetables will be served at a Chinese restaurant. Visit the Yao-and Akha villages on the way to Chiang Rai where we will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5 : Get up have some breakfast and then we will depart the hotel to visit the Golden Triangle and Maesai. The border between Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. Visit the local market on the border and have lunch in a local restaurant. It is time for our return to Chiangmai, but on the way back we will visit the Monkey cave. Note: Program can also start from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai first and end up in Maehongson, this depend on the weather and season. If by road to Chiangrai first the return from Maehongson will be by Thai airways flight. This will notice to pax prior to trip start. .
