The Similan Islands, National Marine Park, consist of 9 islands off the west coast of Phang-Nga Province. The main island is Khao Similan. The park office, however, is on Khao Mieng because it’s the only island that has fresh water.

The Similan Island are the best place to explore the coral reefs which are surrounded by tropical fish and other marine life whose shapes and colors put so-called imaginative Hollywood movie makers to unconditionally surrender.

For snorkelers, snorkeling is an excellent means of seeing the wonders of the reef. Snorkeling gear is available. A one day tour starts with free courtesy pick-up in the morning. Board a ship, and head north to the Similan Islands. Enjoy the beauty of the Andaman Sea during a 3-hours cruising adventure toward Moo Khao Similan. Arrive at Khao Miang, drop anchor for a chance to witness the beauty of the sea and the beaches.

Step ashore, smell the earth, and listen to the sound of the waves. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Perhaps, don a snorkel and mask to explore the colorful coral reefs and watch the little creatures swim under the sea, or just turn in your business suits for swimsuits and have a meeting on the white sand beaches. Return to Phuket in the evening and transfer to your hotel. (Lunch served)
